The Gallery Program pairs working West Texas artists with institutional partners that have wall space, foot traffic, and the capacity to steward art well. It is built to scale: the architecture supports many sites, each with its own rotating exhibitions, so additional partners — corporate headquarters, public buildings, healthcare systems, university facilities — can be added in Year 2 and beyond without rebuilding anything.
Why it matters for both sides: artists gain visibility in front of thousands of people who would never set foot in a traditional gallery; partners gain cultural enrichment and a healing-arts presence that makes their spaces more human. Midland Memorial Hospital is the inaugural pilot site — a recurring, institutional partnership that anchors the program in real walls and a real opening date.
